The Comfort Inn Hotel, Lake Buena Vista
Comfort inn hotel, in Lake Buena Vista is the ultimate budget hotel, clean, comfy, airy, and modern and with great on site and room facilities, it is one of the best hotels for a Disney vacation you could wish for. After all you only sleep at the hotel when you are in Orlando, so why pay thousands for something you are not going to use, or even risk not making the most of your park tickets? As a Disney Friendly neighbor, it means you can get Discounts on tickets if you do wait till you are over there. The hotel comes with in room kitchenette, a fridge, fully working and powerful shower and a deep and roomy bath. The price includes a full continental breakfast, which is excellent and for only a few dollars extra you can get a warm breakfast, or you can just hop about 200 yards to the big restaurant park, Transport to Disney, Universal and Sea World at regular intervals (Islands of Adventure is next to Universal and Wet 'n' Wild is about 400 yards away. All the Disney parks are in one place and there is Disney transport between them), it means you don't have to worry about getting around and forking out for taxis.Situated on the vibrant palm parkway, it offers splendid lake views, over 40 restaurants within easy walking distance and shopping malls just a free bus ride away. What Hotel Could be better for a budget?We have stayed in this hotel for two Florida vacations now and the staff are friendly, we didn't have a problem at all. From the moment we stepped out of the bus from the airport, we were looked after.Check in is simple and easy and after you are shown to your room, where you can unpack and make use of the excellent storage space, after this you can go swimming in the key-activated swimming pool; of if you are low on supplies you can stock up in the lobby. If you, for some reason, are bored, there is a small games arcade on site. When its almost time to go then you can buy souvenirs in the shop. When feeling homesick you can make a call or send an e-mail from the lobby. Situated in an excellent area of Orlando, right in the centre of all the action and surrounded by lovely grounds with a small key-activated play area and tight security, no hotel suits a small budget better!
4/5 in this price range Wynfield Inn, I-DriveThis hotel is the worst hotel I have every stayed at by far, no joke. Situated at the Sea World end of I-Drive it is near only around 10 Restaurants, some of which are shut, and if you decide to get the I-Ride trolley you will have to stand or wait for another one, even if you decide to book a taxi you will get rude and unhelpful service and someone bombarding you with information about tickets.The rooms are much the same as any budget hotel and are clean enough, that is the only redeeming point.The breakfast is virtually non-existent and is horrible even if you do attempt to make a meal of it. The rooms come with A.C, but as ours was broken we didn’t get the benefits of it, but when we asked for it to get fixed i admit it was tended to quickly. Shuttles to park are inconsistent with erratic time tables, surly and silent drivers and often late in our experience.When we did check out we got the same unhelpful service and left with a sense of something lost, if most our money as we found out it only costs $30 dollars a night (Obviously not if you book with Virgin) and believe me you can tell.
